Christine Pusateri, Democrat candidate for Town of North Hempstead Council, District 3
Christine Pusateri has lived within her town for 30 years. Christine lives with her husband and two adult children. She works as a speech pathologist and has been an advocate for individuals within the community.
Christine’s priorities include supporting a balanced budget that does not pierce the tax cap, which will ensure and maintain our Aaa bond rating.
The bond rating is crucial to our town, as it allows for improvements to services at the lowest cost to our taxpayers. As a representative for all within the community, She would like to identify the needs of residents, supporting Project Independence, and develop programs for people with physical and developmental disabilities.
Lastly, she would like transparency and better communication from the town, to the 3rd district, to discuss infrastructure projects and news of the community.
As someone who has been endorsed by unions, Town Supervisor, Judy Bosworth, County Executive Laura Curran, and Congresswoman Kathleen Rice, Christine wants to give a greater voice to those who reside in District 3, to give them the ability to express to their council person what is needed in the community.
Christine is a great advocate, and she wants to put her advocacy to work for you!
