Over 50 people attended a charity concert at Temple Judea to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
The evening’s event included the music of Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, The Who, and the Beatles, performed by the Spencer David Group.
Rabbi Todd Chizner introduced the program with a reference to the loss, devastation and now illness that has caused so much suffering in Puerto Rico. One hundred percent of the donations collected at the event will go towards helping to rebuild the country.
The event was organized by the two chairs of the Social Action Committee, Rita Marcus and Alicia Munves.
