The Roslyn Hotel, a 77-room lodging on Old Northern Boulevard, has been sold for over $14 million, according to Newsday.
A real estate investor group called 935 Lakshmi LLC acquired the three-story, 54,000- square-foot hotel, Newsday reported.
The group includes father and son investors Sudhir and Sumeer Kakar of Upper Brookville.
“We were looking at either developing or acquiring a property on Long Island,” Sumeer Kakar, majority owner of the hotel, told Newsday.
The purchase, from Akash Hotels LLC, is the third hotel the investors have acquired in the past nine months, Newsday reported.
The hotel offers a business center, gym and a 3,000-square-foot banquet hall.
