Two Queens men were arrested for allegedly burglarizing a home Tuesday on IU Willets Road in the unincorporated Searingtown community, authorities said.
Nassau County Police said Christian Forero, 25, of Flushing, and Andres Usman, 23, of Jackson Heights, entered the residence around 5:21 p.m. by breaking a rear sliding glass door and were later observed running through rear yards and a wooded area near Elm Drive.
Proceeds are currently unknown, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Forero and Usman were arrested after witnesses notified police.
They were both charged with 2nd degree charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Usman was given additional 7th degree possession of a criminal substance charge after police said he was found to be in possession of heroin at the time of his arrest.
Both Forero and Usman were due to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
