NOTICE TO BIDDERS
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR 2019-2020 Network Wiring Fiber Upgrade
Notice is hereby given that a Request for Proposal for 2019-2020 Internal Network Wiring will be received and publicly opened and read aloud by the Board of Education, Manhasset Union Free School District, Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County, New York at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 in the Business Office Administration Building.
Requests from prospective proposers requiring clarification or interpretation of the RFP documents and technical specifications will only be accepted in writing, by emailing Dr. Sean Adcroft at SAdcroft@ManhassetSchools.org with ‘ERATE RFP QUESTION’ in the subject line by end of business day January 10th, 2019.
A site visit for this project is REQUIRED. Vendors can choose between a site visit on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 3:00 PM 6:00 PM or Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 3:00 6:00 PM.
All appointments must be scheduled and confirmed via email prior to the mandatory site visit with Peter Morley at Peter_Morley@ManhassetSchools.org
As E-rate funding is being sought for this project, the winning proposal will need to participate in the E-rate program. For details, please go to

Sealed proposals are to be addressed to the attention of Mr. Peter Morley, Purchasing Agent, Manhasset Union Free School District, Business Office, Administration Building, 200 Memorial Place, Manhasset, New York 11030. All proposals must be submitted on or before the date and time of the opening, in sealed envelopes, bearing on the outside the name and address of the proposer and the title of the proposal. ENVELOPE MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED: RFP for Network Fiber Upgrade
The Manhasset Union Free School District is not responsible for proposals opened prior to the public opening if proposal title does not appear on the envelope. Proposals opened prior to the date and time indicated are invalid. The proposer assumes the risk of any delay in the mail, or in the handling of the mail by employees of the Manhasset Union Free School District, as well as improper hand delivery.
