Manor Oaks School kindergartners in Elizabeth Powers’ class created gingerbread houses with their family members before the holiday break.
Using small milk cartons, graham crackers, frosting and a variety of delicious candy treats, the youngsters and their special guests worked together to build unique and colorful gingerbread houses. Before the activity, the students enjoyed reading “Gingerbread Friends” and “The Gingerbread Boy.” The class had a wonderful time engineering their houses and spending time with their family and friends.
