Following a temporary closing for 12 days, the CityMD Mineola Urgent Care on Herricks Road reopened on Jan. 10.
The branch, which offers rapid and PCR tests for COVID-19, was one of several closed due to staffing shortages related to the virus, the company said in a statement.
“Continuing to provide these services to the community is a top priority; however, our physicians and teammates are also a priority,” the company said at the time. “To preserve our ability to staff our sites, we have temporarily closed certain locations. It is our hope that closing sites now will best allow us to avoid future closures as this surge continues.”
The clinic at 292 Herricks Rd. was one of four to be closed in Long Island, including locations in Bay Shore, Merrick and Patchogue.
CityMD, which has over 100 sites, operates in New Jersey and New York.
